Alpes d’OC Morinesio is all this: holiday home, apartments and rooms for holidaymakers, bed & breakfast, agritourism.
The restaurant is family-run and friendly, based principally on typical, local dishes, products and specialities, remarkable for their simplicity, goodness and authenticity. The facility is located in Morinesio – Municipality of Stroppo – (Cuneo) at roughly 1,500 metres a.s.l. in a splendid, sunny position, on the slopes of Mount Nebin; a natural belvedere with a spectacular view over the Cottian Alps.
Morinesio is a charming, little hamlet with houses of stone and wood and unpaved lanes.
Typical and authentic constructions in the Occitan/Provencal alpine architectural style built in the course of the 18th century, refurbished in strict respect of local tradition, through the exclusive use of natural materials (stone and wood) and eco-friendly (oil-based paints; sound and thermal insulation derived from wood).
Alpes d’OC Morinesio is harmony and flavours of the Occitan and Provencal mountains: natural environment, unspoiled setting, characteristic culture and local traditions.
Nature represents the fundamental excellence of the area; the culture (architecture, language, painting) a formidable testimony to the local alpine civilization.
All accommodation face east and have a panoramic balcony of various sizes. The rooms are bright and beautifully decorated in Alpine Occitan-Provencal style.
Accommodation prices do not include tourist tax and heating costs (each accommodation has its own thermostat and meter).
The hotel organizes evenings under the stars, visits to the main local attractions, trekking itineraries and there is the possibility of osteopathy and yoga sessions and much more!
